Fab Five Christmas 2010

Most of you who know me know about the Fab 5...there are five of us who've been friends for probably 15 years or more. We've seen each other through so much, especially over the past few years. We've dealt with sadness, sickness, loss, and tragedy and it's comforting to have girls like this to lean on.

We get to see each other pretty regularly. We always meet up for Christmas in Ruston...last year we brought our hubbies for the first time...but this year it went back to just the girls! We'll probably switch it up from year to year...who knows!

From left to right: Lindsey Clark (married to Bobbie, 1-yr-old son, Jack); Valerie Costanza (married to Sam, baby girl, Amelia); Janie McGehee (married to Jeff, baby girl, Millie Marie); Jennifer Fryer (married to Joshua); and me!

We ate at 102 a Bistro in Ruston...it was DEE-VINE!

She believes in him...she's just not too crazy about him...

Hello blogging friends! I'm finally posting about a month and a half late...but I'm posting! haha. Do you expect more? I didn't think so. I bet you're surprised I'm not posting Christmas pics at Easter. I'm getting better...at least I'm trying...

As soon as Christmas break began, we decided to make the most of our time off and spent lots of time with Emmy and the kids. We have the most fun with them and the kids love each other so much...Molly, Caroline, Avie, and Drew. We went to the mall one day and Aunt Em was taking Molly to talk to Santa, but the
"little girls" weren't having any part of it. Avie's not too crazy about the old man who brings the toys. Well...when Emmy walked off to see Santa, Avie lost her mind....so Emmy came back and got her. She wasn't crying, but she wasn't letting him TOUCH HER. She had to keep her distance.

(can you see her? Emmy is TRYING to put her in his lap, but she's clinging to her like a tree frog...)

...so Avie just decides she's gonna stick with Em but still say she went to "see Santa"...

...Avie's STILL clinging...

It's all good now...she's safe from Santa...
